Lake County Senior Center

Lake County Senior Center

Randy Hill Construction, Inc. was awarded this job through the competitive bid process. This project was to build a new 4,200 sq. ft. Senior Center for Lake County in Clearlake Oaks, California.

The new building is equipped with new HVAC unit, with air conditioning throughout the building. There is a new walk-in cooler, and freezer, as well as a new convection oven, large stove top, and dishwasher. New epoxy flooring was also installed. The bathrooms and offices were expanded and a meeting area was added.

In addition to constructing the new Senior Center, Randy Hill Construction Inc., provided a new thirty-space parking lot and demolished the existing 4,000 sq. ft. Senior Center building that was being replaced.

The existing Senior Center was in use while the new construction was under way. There was a distance of just five feet between the existing building and the new building, but Randy Hill Construction, Inc., Lake County, and the folks at the Senior Center were all able to work together, as a team, to ensure that the project finished on time and under budget. The whole process went as smoothly as could be expected.

Randy Hill Construction Inc., is pleased with the outcome of the project and is grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Lake County and the Senior Center staff and guests to create a new, fully-functional Senior Center.

Clear Creek Water Treatment Plan

Clear Creek Water Treatment Plan

Clear Creek Water Treatment Plan
Randy Hill Construction, Inc. received this job by the competitive bid process. This project was to build a new 10,000 sq. ft. Water treatment facility plant for the city of Redding with a parking lot. This building included extensive HVAC equipment, lighting controls, plumbing equipment, locker rooms, sun shades, control center, and a 9 station 4000 sq. ft. lab center with epoxy counter tops, fume hoods and public viewing windows. This was a 455 day project which we completed the building in 397 days. Within that time, The City and Architect asked RHCI to supervise and coordinated the work of grinding and placing 1500 additional tons of asphalt throughout the plant along with an extensive drainage and water project for the plant instead of the other contractor onsite due to our change orders pricing and our abilities to man the work. The City and Construction Management team also looked to RHCI and our selective subs help design a new heating system for existing buildings onsite. They also liked our ability to coordinate multiple project without affecting the schedule or asking for more time. Randy Hill Construction, Inc. along with CH2MHill and the city of Redding worked together to complete this new facility building ahead of schedule and within budget.

,

A new 20,172sqft competitively bid project with final value of $7,998,335. RHCI self-performed all the concrete, framing, and finish carpentry on this project. The main entry of the building includes a two and a half story tall concrete tower with custom steel sign art. The Rural Health Building is located in Yreka California which was a considerable distance for the subs to travel. The weather is extremely cold during winter months causing labor to be scheduled for maximum results. Despite delays caused by negotiations with the City and owner the project was completed ahead of schedule.
