Project Description
Randy Hill Construction, Inc. was awarded this job through the competitive bid process. This project was to build a new 4,200 sq. ft. Senior Center for Lake County in Clearlake Oaks, California.
The new building is equipped with new HVAC unit, with air conditioning throughout the building. There is a new walk-in cooler, and freezer, as well as a new convection oven, large stove top, and dishwasher. New epoxy flooring was also installed. The bathrooms and offices were expanded and a meeting area was added.
In addition to constructing the new Senior Center, Randy Hill Construction Inc., provided a new thirty-space parking lot and demolished the existing 4,000 sq. ft. Senior Center building that was being replaced.
The existing Senior Center was in use while the new construction was under way. There was a distance of just five feet between the existing building and the new building, but Randy Hill Construction, Inc., Lake County, and the folks at the Senior Center were all able to work together, as a team, to ensure that the project finished on time and under budget. The whole process went as smoothly as could be expected.
